The Differences between Web Designers and Web Programmers

You shouldnít be surprised to find out that web design has aligned itself to the rapid growth tendency of Internet. In order to maximize the results of working with Macromedia Flash you will need some programming skills. This is how the big difference between Microsoft FrontPage and Macromedia Flash appears.

Those using Microsoft FrontPage will call themselves web designers while others using Macromedia Flash will call themselves web programmers. A clear distinction should be made between these two programs because they are two different ways to design a web page and Microsoft FrontPage is usually regarded as being more ìeasy-to-useî.

The way you create a website is not that important but you must not forget that the basic purpose of a website is that of informing visitors about products or services. Basically this means that it doesnít really matter whether a website is created by a web designer or a web programmer the result is the same.

Both of them will be able to create websites that offer good information and are interactive and the only difference is the way they got the result. Both of them can be very creative when it comes to building the website and it is also quite easy.

Even so the differences between a web designer and a web programmer are still not that many and the only way this will change is if more advanced forms of web programming that those we have now will be created in the future. Until then both web designer and web programmer will manage will share their similarities and differences but offer the same results in designing web pages.
